Xiaomi’s sub brand: Redmi has announced its new device. This phone will be Xiaomi’s first phone under Android Go platform and would probably be named Redmi Go. All the specs are not confirmed yet but according to Gadgets360, this phone will have a 5 inch HD display and could reach stores next month.

As per the tweet from Xiaomi, The display would be a HD display of 5 inches and would hold a battery of 3000 Mah which could give a pretty decent usage throughout the day. The processor used is not disclosed by the company yet but according to other leaks it can be a Snapdragon 425 quad core chip-set and is clocked at 1.4 GHz.

The camera would be an 8-megapixel rear one and a front facing camera of 5-megapixel. As stated above, the operating system will be the Android Go but the exact details of the android version Is not available yet. It is suspected that it could be Android oreo 8.1.

As per twitter, it would be available in 2 variants: Black and Blue. According to some additional information, the price of this device is expected to be around ₹6,500.
